President's Message

I am very excited to serve President of The Utah Association for Health Care Quality (UAHQ) for 2012 and partnering with you to add value to your professional life.  UAHQ exists to serve its membership by providing professional development and networking opportunities.  The board and committee members are here for you.  We want to hear from you and better understand how our organization can benefit you in your role as quality professionals.  My door is always open – please feel free to contact me.

As is our tradition, we will continue to provide our Professional Development Series (PDS), e-newsletter and our Annual Conference.  Some topics for consideration as we begin 2012:

Highlighting the great work that is being done by our membership
Partnering with other related professional organizations to strengthen our                professional development
Increasing the diversity of our membership across the continuum of care
Continuing the work that was started in 2011 to develop a long range plan for          UAHQ

Whether you have been a member for years, or are new to the organization, I encourage you to join in on the excitement by participating in UAHQ’s activities this year and volunteering your time to help with activities.

Again, I want to hear from you on how we can best serve you.

Best,

Sandi Gulbransen, BSIE
President, UAHQ
